Is the West Fighting its Enemies?
Besieged Western civilization is in a Chamberlainian mindset when it needs a Churchillian one
The whole Western world — America, Europe, its former dominions, and Israel — are under constant, daily, obsessive assault from both external and internal marauders.
Outside, there are China, Russia, and the agents of global jihad, represented by Iran, Hamas, Hezbollah, and other proxy terrorist organizations. Within, there are Marxist activists, cowardly and corrupt politicians, millions of unvetted immigrants from the most hateful societies on the planet, and traitorous isolationists who sympathize with the West’s enemies out of spite and envy of their “strength.”
The question is: is the West fighting these enemies?
In a recent article by Ben Poser in White Rose Magazine, the evidence, at this time, points to the negative. “The 1930s have, in part, returned,” he says, “and while the menaces are many more, just as then, little is being done to combat them.”
Still, he says, “If we are willing to truly understand our enemy and are resolved to deny them our humiliation, then there is hope.”
In this issue, too, is included an exclusive print interview with ex-Muslim heroine Ayaan Hirsi Ali, which covers this topic as well as if Islam — while busy conquering the West — might be in the process of collapsing itself.
Please also consider subscribing to White Rose, as they had the vision to publish an entire issue about the failure of Jewish leadership two years ago, which eventually became the basis for our book, Betrayal: The Failure of American Jewish Leadership.
